About Me

Married 4 times, gaining over 100 pounds and living with a lifetime of shame and regret, Lisa came to a pivotal moment in her life where she knew it was time for a change.

After being let go from a company where she had worked for 11 years, she found herself out of work, overweight, without a college degree and feeling hopeless.

Through God’s mercy and grace He enabled her to go back to college and get a Bachelor’s Degree at the age of 53 while losing over 100 pounds that same year.

Today Lisa speaks to women’s groups and coaches women who are struggling with self-defeating thoughts, feelings of shame and regret, those who feel stuck in the mundane of everyday life searching for their God given passion and purpose.

Lisa has been married to Charlie Hodges for 16 years. He is an incredible man who stood by her and loved her no matter how much she weighed, while she struggled with feelings of shame and regret and then encouraged her to go back to college and get her degree. Together, they raised two amazing sons Bobby and Tommy, who are married and have given Charlie and Lisa three precious grandchildren. Lisa also has two dogs Trooper and Sissy who are always laying somewhere close to her feet.

Lisa’s favorite time of the day is early in the morning before anyone is awake and the house is quiet. She started having her quiet time over 20 years ago and rarely goes a day without touching base with God before going about her day. She loves to walk in the morning listening to encouraging inspirational music. Lisa is passionate about helping women discover God's purpose for their life. She cherishes time with her family, loves being a wife, mom and now GiGi to her beautiful grandchildren.
